Our client is building a world-class Canadian organization focused on advancing data-driven innovation in healthcare and life sciences. They are seeking a highly talented Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale critical software platforms that support large-scale data processing, analytics, and scientific discovery.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems and applications.
Build high-performance data pipelines and backend services.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, scientists, and data specialists.
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategy.
Improve system reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices.




Help shape the future technical direction of a growing organization.
Strong software development experience in contemporary programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, C++, or similar.
Experience building scalable cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and system design.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with large-scale data platforms.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices.
Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
