As a Senior Physical AI Research Scientist, you will develop robotic agents that perceive, reason, and act safely under uncertainty. Your work spans computer vision, natural language processing, multimodal learning, and robotics. The team builds reliable systems for industrial, home, and humanoid robots.

Key Responsibilities

Design robot safety verification and monitoring modulesDevelop imitation, reinforcement, and multimodal learning algorithmsFine-tune VLMs, VLAs, and world modelsBuild simulation-to-reality transfer pipelinesMentor researchers and shape research directionRequirements:
PhD with three-plus years post-graduate research experienceStrong publications in top-tier AI or robotics venuesExpertise in computer vision, NLP, reinforcement learning, and roboticsStrong PyTorch and/or JAX proficiencyExperience evaluating complex machine learning systems rigorouslyApply physical AI research, safety architecture, and foundation-model expertise to reliable robotic agents at LG Toronto AI Lab.
