Retail Associate – Factory Outlet & Customer Service

Position Type: Part-Time, with the potential for increased hours based on business needs.

We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at Crown Cookware's Factory Outlet.

This is a multifaceted position that combines retail sales, customer support, online order fulfilment and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest and practical knowledge of baking and cooking, allowing them to confidently educate customers, recommend products and provide helpful guidance on their use and care.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Sales & Customer Experience

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional and welcoming manner.
- Educate customers on our cookware and bakeware products, including their features, proper use, care and maintenance.
- Use practical knowledge of baking and cooking to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Provide product recommendations and explain available promotions, discounts and special offers.
- Maintain an organized, clean and well-presented factory outlet.
- Restock merchandise, monitor inventory levels and maintain attractive promotional displays.

Online Order Processing & Fulfilment

- Process, pick, pack and prepare online orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure orders are properly packaged and ready for courier pickup.
- Assist with merchandise returns and customer order-related inquiries.
- Help maintain an organized order fulfilment and packing area.

Customer Service & Communications

- Assist with answer incoming phone calls and respond to general customer inquiries.
- Assist with business-to-consumer (B2C) customer inquiries,



providing accurate product information and support.
- Direct phone calls and inquiries to the appropriate department or team member when necessary.
- Customer Relations: Handle customer feedback, resolve service-related issues and escalate matters to management when necessary.
- Monitor and manage the B2C online chat inbox, ensuring timely and helpful responses.
- Assist with monitoring and responding to customer support emails in a professional and courteous manner.

General Support

- Assist office staff with general administrative duties as required.
- Provide support across retail, customer service and warehouse operations as needed.

Experience & Qualifications

- 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience in a bakery, baking-related environment, or cookware/bakeware retail sales preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of baking and cooking, with the ability to confidently educate customers and make product recommendations.
- Experience using Instagram and TikTok, with a strong understanding of creating engaging retail-related content, is considered a valuable asset.
- Willing and comfortable participating in social media content creation, including appearing in videos and promotional features for the company's Instagram and TikTok platforms.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers and management.
- Comfortable answering phone calls, responding to emails and managing online customer inquiries.




- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn online order processing and inventory systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when processing and preparing orders.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English with customers, coworkers and management.
