PostgreSQL schemas and SQL solutions to support complex, data-intensive financial requirements. Lead technical design reviews and architectural decisions , translating intricate financial-risk business requirements into well-structured, maintainable engineering plans — collaborating with product managers and risk specialists across functions. by establishing and evolving practices in testing, code review, CI/CD, observability, and secure development; mentor engineers and shape platform-wide standards. including agentic AI and AI-enabled tooling, to improve engineering productivity through code generation, automated testing, documentation, and workflow automation. 7+ years of professional software engineering experience. Production experience building and maintaining applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Production experience with Node.
Js/Express or Java, with a demonstrated track record of delivering across multiple technology stacks. Demonstrated SQL proficiency and production experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL. Production experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, or Playwright. Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows,



and Linux/Unix environments. Production experience working within Agile software development environments. Demonstrated track record of making and communicating sound technical decisions to both engineering and business stakeholders. Professional experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot, including cross-stack integration between JavaScript/TypeScript and Java services. Production experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or data-intensive backend services. Domain experience in financial markets, trading, risk management, or regulatory technology; working knowledge of counterparty credit risk, xVA, or market risk. working knowledge of HTML5, web accessibility standards, and frontend performance optimisation. Hands-on experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker, CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, and AWS services such as CloudFront, S3, and Okta; Demonstrated implementation of application security controls including authentication, authorisation, and data protection. Practical experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), AI-assisted development tools, or agentic frameworks.
