Analyze investment risk and agreements as a Senior Investment Analyst with Minnesota’s State Board of Investment in St. Paul, with telework eligibility.
Reporting to the General Counsel, this position supports Legal and Policy Services across private and public markets. You will provide legal advice, negotiate transaction documents, monitor compliance, and support proxy voting and legislative matters. The work requires solid analysis and writing.

Key Responsibilities





Conduct private markets investment diligence and assess governance risksReview and negotiate investment agreements and transaction documentsMonitor public markets compliance with SBI policies and guidelinesReview proxy adviser reports and summarize investment implicationsResearch bills and prepare legislative summaries and fiscal notesRequirements:
Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law schoolThree years of relevant legal experienceMinnesota law license or obtain one within twelve monthsExperience in investments, finance, procurement, or complex transactionsExcellent legal analysis, writing, communication, and management skillsApply investment law, risk assessment, and negotiation expertise supporting Minnesota’s State Board of Investment and its legal services.
