Lead finance data governance and reporting for Athabasca University from its hybrid workplace in Alberta, strengthening systems and evidence-based decisions. The Manager, Finance Data Governance, Reporting and Systems reports to the Director, Financial Advisory Services. This position oversees finance systems, reporting tools, data integrations, governance practices, standards, controls, and stewardship responsibilities.

The work supports financial operations, planning, reporting, institutional accountability, and university resource stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead governance practices for financial datasets and data stewardship
- Provide product ownership for finance systems and reporting tools
- Strengthen reporting, planning, systems, processes, and integration




- Support evidence-based financial decision-making across the university
- Advance financial data governance and reporting capabilities Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- Seven to ten years of progressively responsible related experience
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or financial planning
- Experience with enterprise reporting tools and system integration
- Experience developing governance standards, controls, documentation, or data quality practices Bring financial systems, governance, reporting, and data management expertise to Athabasca University’s Finance and Operations portfolio.
