We are seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Software Developer for a long-term contract opportunity supporting the modernization of enterprise business and regulatory capabilities within a Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
The successful consultant will act as a senior Microsoft 365 solution advisor, developer, and implementor, helping organizations identify the right Microsoft technologies for business needs and then design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support sustainable solutions.
The role will involve working with technologies including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, Azure, and related Microsoft development tools.
Analyze business problems, opportunities, user needs, and desired outcomes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-impact business processes.
Assess the appropriate level of structure, automation, scale, and reporting required for a solution.
Identify data ownership, stewardship, integrity, migration, integration, and information requirements.
Assess how data should flow between Microsoft applications and services.
Evaluate available Microsoft 365 capabilities and identify viable solution options.
Compare solution options based on simplicity, sustainability, cost, governance, scalability, and maintainability.
Recommend appropriate Microsoft technology patterns and provide supporting rationale.
Identify solution risks and recommend mitigation strategies.




Design and implement Microsoft 365 business solutions following approved architectural approaches.
Develop reusable and scalable components to reduce technical debt and improve delivery velocity.
Support modernization of legacy business capabilities through Microsoft 365 technologies.
Develop solutions using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Viva, Copilot, Power BI, and Dataverse.
Develop and integrate solutions using Microsoft Graph APIs.
Develop and configure standard and custom Microsoft connectors.
Design and implement REST API integrations.
Configure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID and OAuth.
Develop Microsoft Teams applications and integrations.
Develop Canvas Power Apps and reusable Power Apps components.
Design and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and permissions.
Develop Dataverse plug-ins and custom APIs using C# where required.
Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, analytics, and data visualizations.
Develop complex DAX measures and optimize Power BI solutions.
Use Power Query/M to clean, transform, normalize, and prepare data.
Implement and validate Row-Level Security (RLS).
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and modules.
Develop Microsoft TeamsFx applications and integrations.
Develop React/JavaScript applications and components.
Develop SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions.




Develop and configure Microsoft Forms and related integrations.
Develop solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
Use Azure DevOps repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, and YAML pipelines.
Test and pilot proposed solutions in collaboration with business and technical teams.
Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
Establish test groups and execute testing plans.
Validate data integrity, system functionality, and solution performance.
Investigate technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
Identify opportunities for process automation, optimization, data analysis, and reporting.
Support the transition of approved solutions from pilot to production.
Prepare solution walkthroughs and presentations for technical teams, management, and business stakeholders.
Present and demonstrate developed solutions.
Prepare technical and solution documentation.
Develop working procedures and standard operating procedures.
Provide knowledge transfer and hands-on walkthroughs to technical and business staff.
Maintain team-oriented relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project teams.
Keep current with the Microsoft 365 technology roadmap and provide recommendations for adoption and onboarding.
Provide expert Microsoft 365 advice to support business adoption of digital solutions.
Perform additional development, integration, implementation, and support activities as required by individual Task Authorizations.
The engagement is structured around an outcome-first approach, with the consultant expected to understand the business problem and data requirements before selecting and implementing the appropriate Microsoft technology solution.
