Operate and monitor automated production equipment while meeting safety, quality, and production requirements.

Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet established specifications and food safety standards. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support equipment changeovers to maintain efficient production flow.

Follow Good Manufacturing

Practices (GMPs), sanitation procedures, food safety requirements, and plant safety standards. Accurately complete production documentation, records, and operational reports. Communicate effectively across shifts to support smooth operations and maintain continuity.

Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and plant performance. Work collaboratively with team members, maintenance personnel, quality teams, and plant leadership to achieve operational goals.

High School

Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience in a production, manufacturing, or food processing environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, food safety, and quality.



Basic math skills and the ability to accurately complete production documentation.

College

Certificate or Diploma in Manufacturing, Technology, or a related field. Completion of a Food Process Operator Apprenticeship Program. Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.

Experience operating automated manufacturing or food processing equipment. This position is based within a food manufacturing facility and requires working around automated production equipment and food processing systems. The role requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements throughout the shift.

Employees may be exposed to manufacturing conditions that include varying temperatures, humidity, noise, dust, and wet or slippery surfaces. Food safety, sanitation, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe work practices are critical components of the work environment. This position operates on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

Employees rotate between day and night shifts every two weeks and must be available to work weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule.
