While reporting to the Production Superintendent, as the Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for the safety, quality, productivity, material handling, and cost performance of the Location plant.
You will supervise and coordinate the activities of hourly employees on assigned shifts; implementing and maintaining best manufacturing practices in this non-union facility.lead safety teams and programs on assigned shift to prevent injuriesSupervise all production activities for assigned shift, schedule shift employees, and crew machines to cover vacations, absence, and overtimeMeet or exceed productivity, cost,



or other performance metric expectations for assigned shiftImplement and maintain best manufacturing practicesDirect shift in continuous improvement initiatives, such as SPS, 6 Sigma, Kaizen events, and lean manufacturing.
Coordinate production scheduling on shift to meet customer demands, to manage overtime, to minimize inventory, and to reduce costsSupport quality initiatives to ensure product meets or exceeds customer expectationsBuild and maintain productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction by providing direction, training, and development as needed.
