Job Summary The Foundry Worker is responsible for assisting in different tasks as required in the production/finishing processes.

Job Responsibilities

- Transport raw materials, castings and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment

- Verify weight of

materials and products

- Pick up castings from the conveyors and place them into buggies

- Manually load/unload Shot blaster machines

- Core knockout

- Operate Pressure Tester unit

- Operate Punch press machine

- Sort, pack, crate and package castings

- Assist machine operators and other workers when required

Education and Skill Requirement

- Understand English - oral, written and reading, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely

- Ability to follow appropriate departmental work instructions, including health and safety rules and procedures

- Able to lift 46 lbs. and over

- Capable of standing for long periods of time

Pay: $22.65-$23.75 per hour
