Job Summary The Framing Carpenter builds and repairs structural wood components for construction and restoration projects. The role involves interpreting plans, preparing materials, and using hand and power tools to complete accurate, durable work. Collaboration with the project team helps keep work aligned with plans and supports secure, coordinated progress.

Duties

- Read blueprints and schematics, measure and cut materials, and assemble framing to project specifications.
- Build and install framing components ie walls, floor system, roof system
- Able to complete demolition tasks at specific start and stop points inside a project
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques to complete construction, repair, and restoration tasks.
- The ability to adapt between new home construction, home renovations and apartment restoration projects




- Handle heavy materials and equipment safely, coordinating with colleagues to maintain an orderly worksite.

Experience Required: Has a valid class 5 drivers license and a vehicle to get to and from site. Practical carpentry skills, blueprint reading, and the ability to use hand and power tools for framing tasks; physical capability for heavy lifting is important. Preferred: Construction experience, including drywall, siding, restoration, woodworking, demolition, heavy equipment operation, can support and adapt to a broader range of project work.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
