This Manager, Legal Services and General Counsel leads contractual and legal services for LHSC. The role advises on health law, civil litigation, privacy, contracts, regulatory matters, and high-risk patient issues. Reporting to the Director, the Manager collaborates with leadership, external counsel, insurers, and internal stakeholders.

Direct and evaluate contractual and legal service deliveryAdvise on complex claims, litigation risks, and regulatory mattersLead legal reviews and assess liability, compliance, and organizational riskManage staffing, resources, budgets,



improvement initiatives, and change managementDevelop relationships across teams and with external partnersRequirements:
Juris Doctor degree or equivalent qualificationOntario Bar call and Law Society standingThree to five years’ related experience preferredOne to three years’ progressive leadership experience preferredKnowledge of Ontario health law, contracts, privacy, and litigationBring legal judgment, contract expertise, and healthcare risk knowledge to LHSC’s General Counsel leadership role in Ontario.
