Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to lead RFx solicitations and IM/IT contracts using IM/IT procurement

Drive end-to-end RFx procurement across multiple IM/IT projects with funding confirmed through Mar 31, 2027 and potential for extension. The role spans solicitation development, evaluations, contract awards, administration, billing/invoicing, and reporting to support high-priority initiatives. Engagement begins as soon as possible, aligned to Eastern Time with remote or hybrid flexibility across Canada. English is essential, and availability through the January-March peak procurement window is expected.

Must Haves

- 10+ years in contracting and procurement for IM/IT, including 5+ years in Canadian Federal Government Departments, agencies or Crown corporations
- RFx development, evaluations, awards, administration, billing/invoicing, and reporting
- IT contract management, contract interpretation and negotiations, and transaction agreement administration
- English essential; eligibility for Reliability security clearance
- College diploma or certificate in Business Administration or a related field

Nice to Have

- Bilingual (French/English)

Responsibilities

- Manage and lead the bid solicitation process including drafting, editing and issuing RFQs, RFPs, RFIs and SOWs
- Manage SOWs, RFPs, contracts and subcontracts
- Manage the evaluation process and facilitate bidder debriefings
- Plan, manage and maintain the contracting process for IM/IT
- Plan, manage and maintain a procurement tool
- Negotiate new IM/IT contracts including timelines and deliverables




- Manage existing contract renewals and amendments to ensure accuracy
