As a Senior Group Insurance Underwriter, you will prepare quotes, underwrite renewals, and analyze contract amendment requests. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Underwriting, you will assess financial risk and support profitable business growth. The role also involves stakeholder relationships, junior underwriter development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Determine rates for prospective group insurance clients
- Prepare quotes for recent business opportunities
- Determine rates for existing client renewals
- Assess contract amendment impacts on pricing




- Mentor junior underwriters through guidance and coaching

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or related field
- Five to ten years of relevant group insurance underwriting experience
- In-depth knowledge of the group insurance market
- Excellent Microsoft Excel proficiency and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Full French proficiency and intermediate English proficiency
