Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dependable superintendent to oversee daily building operations and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-managed property. Previous building superintendent experience is required.

Position details

- Starting wage: $21.50 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Employment: Full-time, live-out position
- On-call: Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections of the building, common areas, grounds, and mechanical rooms.
- Identify maintenance concerns, complete minor repairs within your qualifications, and promptly report issues requiring specialized service.
- Coordinate contractor access and monitor work being completed onsite.
- Assist with garbage and recycling operations and maintain orderly service areas.
- Respond professionally to resident concerns and building emergencies.
- Maintain daily reports and communicate with management regarding repairs, incidents, and outstanding concerns.

Requirements

- Previous experience working as a building superintendent is a must.
- Practical knowledge of building systems, general maintenance, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and keep accurate records.
- Strong communication skills and a skilled approach with residents, contractors, and management.




- Ability to respond promptly to after-hours emergencies in Georgetown.
- Manage maintenance priorities, coordinate projects, and use CMMS tools to track work orders, schedules, and completed repairs.
- Supervise maintenance activities, guide staff, and coordinate contractors to address building needs efficiently.
- Inspect equipment and systems, troubleshoot issues using schematics, and support industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical, low-voltage, and mechanical work.
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing environments and programmable logic controllers when relevant to facility equipment and maintenance tasks.

Experience Required: Practical maintenance, mechanical, and building-systems knowledge; clear English communication; and the ability to organize work, follow schematics, and coordinate repairs. Preferred: Supervising experience, leadership, and management or project management strengths, along with experience using CMMS, supporting manufacturing operations, programmable logic controllers, industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical systems, or low-voltage equipment.

Pay: $21.50 per hour
