Functional Consultant – Asset Finance

Long-Term Contract

Remote – Canada

Experience: 4–12 Years

We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant – Asset Finance to work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Asset Finance and Leasing domain, with the ability to understand business requirements, define functional specifications, configure systems, and support end-to-end solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Research client business needs, analyze industry trends, and identify best practices.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Act as a liaison between end users, clients, and technical consulting teams.
- Define product scope, objectives, requirements, specifications, and data models.




- Configure systems based on agreed user requirements.
- Develop and recommend procedures to improve operational efficiency and resolve complex business and technical challenges.
- Work directly with clients throughout consulting and implementation projects.
- Coordinate with global teams and support different time zones when required to align with client working hours.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–12 years of relevant experience in the Asset Finance and Leasing domain .
- Strong understanding of:
- Asset and Residual Value Management.
- Asset Finance Accounting Fundamentals.
- Auto Leasing and Equipment Finance.
- Hire Purchase and Loan Structures.
- In-Life Contract Servicing.
- Quote-to-Contract Lifecycle.
- Knowledge of SQL and Database Design.
- Experience with Crystal Reports.
- Strong functional consulting, business analysis, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
