Assistant Store Manager – Holt Renfrew Join Max Mara USA Max Mara is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to partner closely with the Business Manager in driving business growth while delivering the elevated luxury experience that defines the Max Mara brand. This role is instrumental in achieving sales objectives, strengthening partnerships with Holt Renfrew leadership, cultivating client relationships, and supporting all aspects of daily business operations.

Customer Experience
• Deliver an exceptional luxury shopping experience by leading through service excellence.
• Build, maintain, and grow a loyal client base through proactive outreach, relationship management, and personalized service.
• Resolve client service opportunities while reinforcing Max Mara's luxury standards.
• Ensure every client interaction reflects Max Mara's brand values, heritage, and commitment to excellence. Leadership & Business Partnership
• Partner with the Business Manager to drive sales performance and achieve business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with Bloomingdale's Selling Managers, Department Managers, Executive Management, Personal Shopping, and support teams.
• Influence selling behaviors by providing product knowledge, styling expertise, and ongoing support to Bloomingdale's associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Sales & Business Performance
• Support the execution of business strategies that drive sales, profitability, and productivity.
• Monitor daily business performance and key performance indicators, identifying opportunities and implementing action plans.
• Analyze sales trends, client insights, and business metrics to maximize selling opportunities.
• Support in-store events, trunk shows, styling appointments, and client activations. Operations




• Support all aspects of daily business operations while ensuring compliance with Max Mara and Bloomingdale's operational standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shrink.
• Assist in managing inventory levels to maximize selling opportunities.
• Execute replenishment, stock organization, inventory movements, and omni-channel initiatives.
• Assist with VDF, DTC, and B2E fulfillment and oversight. Visual Merchandising
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards in partnership with the Visual Merchandising team.
• Ensure merchandise presentation reflects Max Mara's luxury image and seasonal direction.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and communicate seasonal updates effectively. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Bloomingdale's leadership to support successful execution of Max Mara business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, Buying, Planning, Visual Merchandising, and Corporate partners.
• Build robust relationships across business partners to maximize client experience, operational excellence, and commercial performance. Additional Responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the business. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of retail management experience required; luxury ready-to-wear experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to drive sales while delivering an elevated luxury client experience.
• Demonstrated success building collaborative partnerships and influencing business results within a department store or luxury retail environment.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent business acumen with the ability to analyze performance and develop action plans.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with retail systems, Microsoft Office, and POS technology.
