About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oracle EBS Payroll Functional Analyst to join our team. In this remote role (based in Canada), you will be the key subject matter expert responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing our Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) Payroll and HRMS modules. You will work closely with our HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processing, compliance with Canadian statutory and tax regulations, and continuous improvement of our enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
• System Configuration & Support: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle EBS R12 Payroll, HR, Advanced Advantages, and Time & Labor modules.
• Canadian Payroll Compliance: Ensure full adherence to Canadian federal and provincial payroll regulations, including statutory deductions, tax updates, ROE (Record of Employment) generation, T4/T4A processing, and year-end tax cycles.
• Requirements & Solution Design: Translate business requirements into functional designs (MD050 / FDDs), conduct fit-gap analyses, and recommend best-practice solutions.
• Testing & Deployment: Develop comprehensive test scenarios, execute system and user acceptance testing (UAT), and support successful deployments and patch applications.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams,



technical developers, and external vendors to resolve complex production issues and implement enhancements.
• Documentation & Training: Create training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and functional documentation for end-users and support teams. Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:
5+ years of hands-on functional implementation and support experience with Oracle EBS R12, specifically focusing on Oracle Payroll (Canada localization).
• Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, CRA guidelines, provincial tax structures, and year-end statutory processing.
• Technical Fluency: Familiarity with Oracle EBS underlying table structures, workflow configurations, and integration points with GL, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and third-party systems.
• Full-Lifecycle

Skills:
Proven track record participating in full-lifecycle implementations, upgrades, or major support rollouts.
• Certifications: Professional designation from the National Payroll Institute (e.g., Certified Payroll Manager
- CPM) or Oracle Cloud/EBS certifications are a strong asset.
