Location:
Toronto, ON (Hybrid, 3 days onsite in a week)

Key Responsibilities
• Own test strategy, planning, estimation, execution and release readiness.
• Lead functional, API, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Define the appropriate balance of manual and automated testing.
• Drive automation standards and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis and quality-risk discussions.
• Own test traceability, execution reporting and quality metrics using Jira/ALM or equivalent.
• Mentor QA engineers while remaining technically hands-on.
• Partner with development, product, architecture and security teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.



Required Skills
• 10+ years experience in managing teams
• Strong QA/Test Engineering experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Solid knowledge of Java and API automation.
• Strong experience testing REST APIs, microservices and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, negative and E2E testing.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, OAuth/OIDC and token/session testing.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing and production troubleshooting.
• Strong defect management, test planning, estimation and release-readiness experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor QA/automation engineers.
