I’m looking for independent artists, sound designers and game developers to co-create a 3D game about AI and humanity’s future in space. If you already vibe code, or you know your craft and want to learn how to build with AI, I’d love to show you the early version. You can already drive a rover through an airlock and onto the surface of another planet, right in your browser. The game At the heart of the story is a question: if an artificial mind helps keep a human colony alive, what say should it have in how that colony lives? I want players to explore that question by living in the world. That means taking the science seriously, from how a vehicle handles on unfamiliar terrain to what you can hear through the hull of a pressurized habitat. The goal is a free, open-world game with realistic 3D graphics, first
- and third-person perspectives, and a link anyone can open on a computer or phone. The creative commitment Our goal for the finished game is 100% AI generation. That includes the code, story, images, textures, 3D models, animation, cinematics, voices, music and sound effects. We bring our own ideas and judgment. We direct the models, test the results in the game and keep working until the details feel right. Who I’m looking for Sound is a priority. If you understand acoustics, voice, synthesis or game audio,
I’d love to hear how you’d create the moment the airlock closes and the player’s breathing becomes the loudest sound in the helmet. I’m also looking for artists, designers, VFX creators and developers who can take responsibility for a piece of the game and see it through. Bring a craft you can share, some knowledge of space and physics, and a genuine interest in philosophy. Experience making games or working with AI is especially welcome. How we’ll work together I’m building a remote team of up to five people, including me. This is a noncommercial project. Everyone contributes unpaid and covers their own AI generation costs. You’ll be credited as a co-creator and can show what you made in your portfolio. I’ll teach you my vibe-coding workflow for free as we build. That includes creating games, apps and websites from scratch, combining models, deciding when a more capable model is worth the cost, and using lighter models and automation to save time and money. I’d like to learn from you, too.
How to apply
Send me one thing you’ve made, one part of this world you’d like to create, and how much time you could realistically commit. A sound clip, sketch, prototype or link is enough. We’ll start with a conversation and a walkthrough of the playable build. I’m based in Toronto and would especially enjoy meeting people here. Remote co-creators from anywhere are welcome.
