Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Generator Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with standby and portable generators and/or small engines including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Duties

- Service, and maintain residential and commercial standby generators.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil and filter changes, inspections, and adjustments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with generators and related equipment.
- Conduct load testing and verify systems are operating to manufacturer specifications.
- Complete accurate service reports and maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work completed and answering technical questions.




- Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a generator technician, electrician, or small engine repair.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Gas technician (TSSA) or electrical certifications considered an asset but not mandatory.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
