This is a hands-on engineering role focused on backend development, AWS infrastructure, platform reliability, and solving technical challenges with external partners. You will be responsible for…
• Design, build, and maintain integrations with device repair partners and client systems, including REST APIs, file-based enrollment, webhooks, and notifications.
• Maintain the performance and reliability of APIs and databases by investigating alerts, profiling and optimizing queries, and preventing recurring issues.
• Provide day-to-day production support by responding to alerts and client or partner issues, triaging and diagnosing problems, restoring service, and communicating status.
• Contribute to the AI-assisted claims process, including prompt design, guardrails, retrieval from the policy knowledge base, and investigation of inaccurate or inconsistent outputs.




• Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure and engineering practices, including containerized services, networking, security configuration, dependencies, images, and database schema migrations.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and external partners, presenting findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. For you to be successful… …we expect you to be able to demonstrate the following key competencies:

• Typically 6+ years of experience building and supporting production backend systems; equivalent hands-on experience demonstrating senior-level capability will also be considered.
• Robust C#/.




NET skills preferred, or experience in an equivalent typed programming language with the ability to become productive in C#/.
NET quickly.
• Strong PostgreSQL or comparable relational database experience, including schema design, query tuning, and safe database migrations.
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, preferably AWS, including containerized services such as ECS/Fargate, networking, IAM, and security configuration. Azure experience may also be transferable.
• Experience designing, building, and troubleshooting API integrations or other third-party system integrations.
• Experience supporting production applications, diagnosing technical issues, and improving system performance and reliability.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with AWS CDK, Entity Framework Core, React/TypeScript, AWS Bedrock, LLM-backed features, fraud or sanctions screening, payments or subscription billing, or multi-tenant SaaS is an advantage.
