Part-Time Sales Associate – Weekday Evenings The Giftshop | The Westin Bayshore Vancouver

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience

Schedule: 2–3 weekday evenings per week, starting at 3:00 p.m. and ending at 9:00 or 10:00 p.m.

About Us The Giftshop is a fast-paced retail store inside The Westin Bayshore Vancouver. We offer gifts, souvenirs, snacks, beverages, apparel, travel essentials, and convenience items to hotel guests and visitors.

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Sales Associate who takes pride in excellent service and keeping the store organized, stocked, and welcoming.

What You’ll Do

- Greet customers warmly and help them find products.
- Accurately process cash, debit, credit, and lottery transactions.
- Receive deliveries, restock shelves, and maintain attractive displays.
- Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates, and rotate products.
- Keep the sales floor, checkout area, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Complete opening and closing duties as scheduled.
- Follow company procedures for cash handling, receiving, and store operations.

- The ability to manage several tasks while keeping customer service a priority.
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

- Previous retail, gift shop, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Required Availability You must be available for 2–3 weekday evening shifts per week, from 3:00 p.m. until closing at 9:00 or 10:00 p.m.
