Duties:

-Prepare food and feed animals

-Clean and disinfect cages, pens and surrounding areas

-Shampoo, clip and groom animals

-Assist veterinarians and animal health technologists, technicians, helpers to inoculate and treat animals

-Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals

-Assist scientists and researchers in conducting laboratory tests with animals

-Monitor and document animal behaviour

Tasks:

-Bathe and shampoo animals

-Document animal behaviour

-Monitor animal behaviour

-Prepare food and feed animals

-Style animal coat

-Clean and disinfect stall and enclosures as required

-Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals

-Supervise helpers

-Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals

-Maintain and order supplies

-Provide flea bath treatments to animals





-Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals

Start Date: As soon as possible

Number of Positions: 1

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Animal specialization: Horses

Pay: $36.92 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
