Use wet mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and power equipment as a full time Housekeeping Aide at Cooper Place. Saturday and Sunday are days off.

This regular full-time position cleans and maintains assigned facility areas under the Manager, Support Services or delegate. Work includes light and heavy cleaning, high dusting, resident-room service, washroom disinfection, linen collection, and supply replenishment. The schedule runs from 0700 to 1500.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wet mop, vacuum, scrub, wax, and polish facility surfaces
- High dust or vacuum pipes, lights, and ventilators
- Use step ladders where necessary for assigned cleaning
- Strip and make beds while tidying resident rooms
- Remove refuse and replenish soap and paper supplies

Requirements:

- Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Ability to operate related cleaning equipment
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- Ability to organize assigned work
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
