Support non-emergency patient transport across Epsom and St Helier as a Driver, using safe driving and compassionate patient care. The role involves lifting.

As an Ambulance Care Assistant / Driver, you will transport eligible patients to appointments and return them home safely. You will support older people, physically disabled individuals, and people with mental health problems. Accurate documentation, PDA communication, and vehicle readiness are central to each shift.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patients between their homes and the ambulance
- Transport patients safely, comfortably, and on time
- Settle patients at home before leaving
- Record journeys on PDA and Daily Log Sheet
- Communicate with Control throughout each shift

Requirements:

- Valid current full manual UK driving licence
- Maximum three penalty points on driving licence
- Licence held for minimum two years
- Ability to perform lifting and physically demanding duties
- Kindness and respect toward patients and relatives

Provide protected patient transport through careful driving, accurate records, communication, and respectful assistance across the assigned geographical area.
