Support YORK1's environmental services as an AZ Commercial Walking Floor Operator with inspection, reporting, and safety expertise. The work is based in Hamilton, Ontario.

This permanent, full time position involves Monday-to-Friday schedules with shifts potentially reaching 13 hours. The successful driver operates Walking Floor trucks and Pony Pup equipment, transports construction debris and recyclable materials, and maintains accurate operational records. Outdoor driving conditions include noise, odors, and varying elements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Walking Floor vehicles on commercial and residential routes
- Conduct documented pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep loading areas compliant with safety standards




- Maintain activity logs and bills of lading accurately
- Attend training, briefings, and scheduled meetings

Requirements:

- Minimum three years of commercial driving experience
- Minimum one year operating Walking Floor trucks and Pony Pup
- Ontario AZ license, clean abstract, and CVOR
- Ability to operate 15 to 18-speed standard transmissions
- Ability to pull, bend, climb, twist, and lift 40 pounds
