We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Functional Analyst with a robust focus on testing within the Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing functional specifications, developing test strategies and test cases, coordinating end-to-end testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze functional specifications and translate business requirements into test requirements.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, scenarios, and test cases for Guidewire projects.
- Coordinate end-to-end testing activities with development and functional teams.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Track, document, and manage defects using Jira.
- Document test results, defects, and testing progress.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to validate fixes and ensure quality delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on testing experience with Guidewire projects.
- Strong experience in test planning, test strategy, test case development, and defect management.
- Experience analyzing functional specifications and defining test requirements.
- Experience coordinating testing activities and supporting UAT.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence in an Agile environment.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Guidewire PolicyCenter experience.
- Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance experience.
- Guidewire Cloud or cloud migration experience.
- Experience with BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Exposure to test automation.
