About the Role

Empire Fitness is looking for a skilled, reliable technician to assemble, maintain, and repair fitness equipment. The primary focus of this role is assembling new gym equipment delivered in boxes. Applicants must have hands-on experience assembling fitness machinery and working safely with tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Unpack and assemble new gym equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
- Inspect, adjust, and test assembled equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on strength machines, cable stack machines, and cardio equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, damage, and maintenance needs.
- Respond to equipment service requests and complete on-site repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly, maintenance, and repairs.
- Keep tools and work areas organized and protected.
- Work with management and team members to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications





- At least 3 years of experience in gym equipment repair or assembly.
- At least 1 year of mechanical experience.
- Proven hands-on experience assembling gym equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools.
- Experience with strength machines, cable systems, and cardio equipment.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment and perform the physical duties of the role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a dependable, professional approach.
