Operate an oyster nursery in Okeover Inlet using grading equipment, basic math, and detailed record keeping. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM.

This full time Flupsy Operator position supports nursery oyster production from spring through late fall. You will grade oysters from 3mm to 12mm, calculate animal totals, and maintain stored volumes. The work includes tracking seed transfers, monitoring wild sets, and operating equipment within a floating upwelling system.

Key Responsibilities:

- Grade nursery oysters through conveyor and shaking table
- Use averages and volumes to determine total animals
- Maintain stored animal volumes and optimize system flow
- Track seed transfers within nursery bins
- Monitor wild sets and operate hoists or gantries

Requirements:

- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Comfort working on rafts and boats
- Comfort with basic math and record keeping
- High attention to detail
