Support hospice clients as a Registered Nurse with ParaMed, following legislation and regulatory standards. This part time or casual position requires alternate weekend availability.
ParaMed is seeking an RN for hospice care within the applicable practice setting. Candidates need CNO registration in good standing and at least two years of nursing experience. Preference goes to applicants with direct palliative experience and a passion for making a difference in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care within a hospice practice setting
- Follow legislation and regulatory body standards
- Work assigned evening or night shifts
- Remain available for alternate weekend scheduling
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse certification with the CNO
- Valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- At least two years of nursing experience
- Palliative setting experience preferred by ParaMed
- Community-focused passion for making a difference
