This permanent, full time Laboratory Assistant supports sample preparation, experimentation, data collection, and laboratory maintenance. The position follows SOPs, documents findings, and supports safety and quality compliance. It also assists laboratory staff with testing and environmental monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage samples for laboratory testing
- Record analytical observations and data accurately
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and cleanliness
- Prepare shipments and manage warehouse inventory levels
- Document work orders, worksheets, and laboratory reports
Requirements:
- Experience in microbiology or chemistry laboratory settings
- Laboratory support experience involving cleaning and maintenance
- Microbiology principles and aseptic techniques knowledge
- Ability to follow SOPs, policies, and safety rules
- Intermediate Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
