Forest Crest Manor Inc. (FCMI) is a residential boarding house that provides accommodation for38 residents. Our goal is to maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment where residents feel at home.

Position: Handyman / Property Maintenance We are seeking two reliable, skilled, and responsible Part Time individuals with hands-on experience in general building maintenance and repairs. The successful candidate will help maintain the property, complete routine repairs, identify maintenance concerns, and ensure the building remains safe and functional for residents.

What We Are Looking For

1. Experience

- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in handyman work, property maintenance,



building repairs, or a related field.
- Experience with general repairs, painting, plumbing, basic electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, and building upkeep is an asset.

1. Professional References

- Must provide at least two recent professional references from previous employers or supervisors.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a solid work ethic.

1. Health and Safety

- WHMIS training or certification.
- Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and follow safe work procedures.
- Knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

1. Tools and Equipment

- Must own and provide basic hand tools and maintenance equipment required for routine repairs.
- Familiarity with the safe operation and maintenance of common tools and equipment.

1. Additional Qualifications and Requirements

- Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance materials, tools, and equipment as required.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage maintenance priorities.
- Respectful and considerate when working in a residential environment with 38 residents.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to respond to maintenance concerns in a timely manner.

Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 per week
