We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and creative Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to join our team and take a leadership role in our kitchen.
THE ROLE
This is a blended hands-on culinary and kitchen management position, ideal for someone who loves creating great food while also keeping a kitchen organized, efficient and running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating exciting, innovative and seasonal menus.
- Developing recipes and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Leading, organizing and motivating the kitchen team.
- Overseeing daily kitchen operations and catering food production.
- Managing food purchasing, inventory and supplier relationships.
- Monitoring food costs, labour and kitchen budgets.
- Planning and coordinating food preparation for catering events.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization and food safety.
- Bringing fresh ideas and creativity to our catering offerings.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for someone who:
- Has skilled culinary experience, ideally in catering or high-volume food service.
- Is passionate about food, creative menu development and presentation.
- Is an organized, hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside their team.
- Has strong kitchen management and organizational skills.
- Understands food costing, inventory management and kitchen efficiencies.
- Is adaptable, energetic and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Takes pride in delivering an exceptional food experience.
