Job Title: Data Center Technician Level 2 and 3

Job Description
We are seeking skilled Data Center Technicians to join our team and support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of critical data center infrastructure. This role involves working with servers, fiber optics, copper cabling, and power infrastructure, ensuring efficient operations and addressing issues promptly.

Responsibilities

Install, rack, and configure servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. Perform rack-and-stack activities within an active data center environment. Install and manage fiber optic and copper cabling. Route, dress, label, and organize network and power cabling within racks. Connect servers and network equipment to Power Distribution Units (PDUs). Support installation and maintenance of UPS systems and associated power infrastructure. Verify equipment compatibility prior to installation.

Validate dual power feeds and redundant power connections. Support configuration and testing of failover and redundancy systems. Identify and troubleshoot hardware, cabling, connectivity, and power issues. Follow data center standards for cable management, labeling, documentation, and equipment installation. Work closely with network, infrastructure, electrical, and commissioning teams during deployments. Essential Skills 2 years of experience with server racking, fiber and copper cabling, hardware installations, and troubleshooting.

Experience working in a large-scale data center. Ability to work independently. Proficiency in troubleshooting and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, rack elevations, and documents. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working on ladders,



overhead cable trays, and raised floors. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with fiber testing tools such as Fluke or EXFO. Familiarity with LC, SC, MPO/MTP fiber connections.

Understanding of single-mode and multimode fiber. Experience reading rack elevations, network diagrams, or cable schedules. Data center commissioning or infrastructure deployment experience. Job Type
& Location This is a Contract position based out of Prince George, BC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00
- $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
