About the Position

Accurate Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in the Pierceland, SK area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy-duty equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

We are open to hiring the right candidate as either a full-time employee or an independent contractor, depending on their experience and preference.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
- Perform field repairs and respond to equipment breakdowns as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Identify potential mechanical issues and recommend repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with operators, supervisors, and other team members to support daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements




- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to job sites and perform field repairs as required.
