We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with Construction, Sewer and Watermain experience to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, etc. in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily circle and maintenance checks, as well daily equipment inspections.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Adhere to safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete and submit paperwork correctly and promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in Construction, Sewer and Watermain Work.
- Clean driver's abstract and a minimum Valid G License.
- Three to five years Heavy Equipment Experience.
- Heavy Equipment Operators certificate an asset.
- Ability to operate a tri-axle dump truck an asset.
- Knowledge of truck and equipment safety.
- Surface Miner Common Core an asset.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.
- Safety conscious.
- Reliable and punctual.
Job Type: Full time Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
