Homestay Field Coordinator (Independent Contractor)

Location: Toronto

Contract Term: 2-3 Months (Temporary Contract)

About Braemar College

Braemar College is a private international high school in Toronto dedicated to supporting students from around the world through quality education and protected, welcoming homestay experiences.

We are seeking a reliable and qualified Homestay Field Coordinator to conduct homestay assessments and support the onboarding of host families.

Responsibilities

- Conduct in-person visits to prospective and existing homestay residences.
- Interview host families and assess suitability for hosting international students.
- Complete homestay inspection reports
- Take photos and Record video tours of homes and living spaces.
- Upload photos, videos, and documentation into the homestay management system.
- Verify Vulnerable Sector Checks and other supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Report any concerns related to student safety, accommodations, or host family eligibility.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.




- Comfortable conducting interviews and home assessments.
- Ability to work independently and manage assignments efficiently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and online data-entry systems.
- Access to a vehicle and ability to travel throughout the GTA preferred.
- Experience in education, student services, housing, social services, or customer service is considered an asset.

Position Details

- Independent Contractor position.
- Flexible schedule.
- Assignments provided on an as-needed basis during the contract period.
- Compensation is paid at $75 per completed homestay assessment visit.
