Job Overview

As a Host/Hostess, you’ll create a welcoming first impression, coordinate guest seating, and support smooth service. You’ll communicate with guests and colleagues to help the restaurant deliver attentive, organized hospitality.

Duties

- Welcome guests warmly, manage reservations and wait times, and guide guests to their tables.
- Answer calls with professional phone etiquette, respond to questions, and share accurate information about service.
- Coordinate seating with serving staff, monitor table availability, and help maintain an orderly guest flow.
- Use POS systems to support reservations or service coordination and keep relevant guest information accurate.

Qualifications Required: Clear communication, customer service, hospitality, and guest services skills help you welcome guests,



handle inquiries, and coordinate effectively with colleagues. Comfort using a POS system and qualified phone etiquette supports accurate, organized service.

Preferred: Food service experience, serving, restaurant experience, or hotel experience can strengthen your ability to anticipate guest needs and contribute to a smooth visit.

Experience with Micros POS is also an advantage.

Pay: $17.60-$31.73 per hour
