Key Responsibilities

- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival

- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently

- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus

- Maintain accurate waitlists and provide estimated wait times

- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally

- Coordinate table rotation to ensure balanced service flow

- Communicate clearly with servers and management regarding seating

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area

- Assist with coat check (if applicable)

- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return

Qualifications & Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Friendly, skilled, and positive attitude

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities





- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Basic knowledge of reservation systems (OpenTable or similar preferred)

- Team-oriented mindset

- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods

- Ability to move quickly and efficiently throughout the restaurant

Preferred Experience

- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred

- Fine dining experience is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$33.68 per hour
