Support Quinte Health hospitals through HVAC, building automation, and mechanical maintenance work. This full time position primarily follows Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As a Facility Maintenance Representative, you will maintain critical hospital infrastructure and equipment. The work includes plumbing, refrigeration, medical gas systems, and preventive maintenance. You will also respond to service calls, perform inspections, and participate in an on-call rotation supporting essential hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor hospital building systems through the Building Automation System
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment rebuilding
- Maintain HVAC, steam, water, boiler, plumbing, and medical gas systems




- Document service calls and work completed accurately
- Coordinate contractors, trades, materials, inventory, and maintenance projects

Requirements:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Ontario trade qualification in an accepted trade
- Minimum three years maintaining mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and applicable legislation
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and customer service skills
