Green Acre Ventures Ltd. is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead our health, safety and environmental program while providing hands-on support to our field and management teams.
The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to safety, working closely with project managers, supervisors, maintenance personnel, crews and executive management to identify hazards, mitigate risk and ensure employees have the training, documentation and support required to perform their work safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead GAV's HSE program and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain a robust field presence and provide coaching to crews.
- Coordinate FLHAs/JHAs, hazard assessments, inspections and investigations.
- Manage corrective actions and HSE documentation.
- Oversee safety onboarding and training.
- Support project managers with safety planning and risk mitigation.
- Develop and update HSE procedures, manuals and training.
- Conduct audits and inspections.
- Manage incident, near-miss and hazard reporting.
