Human Resources & Labour Relations Generalist

Salary Range: $59,854 - $63,301 annually

POSITION SUMMARY:

Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) is a community-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting health, wellness, safety, and inclusion across far west Ottawa. Since 1986, WOCRC has supported individuals and families through a wide range of community, social, and health services designed to strengthen and empower the communities we serve.

Reporting to the Manager of HR & Labour Relations, the HR & Labour Relations Generalist supports the delivery of day-to-day HR services and initiatives that help attract, engage, and retain a diverse and high-performing workforce. The role provides support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS and records administration, benefits administration, reporting, policy implementation, legislative compliance, labour relations activities, and employee engagement initiatives.

POSITION DETAILS & BENEFITS

This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., based onsite at our Main Administration Office located at 2 MacNeil Court. Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset. This position is excluded from the bargaining unit.
