Role Description The Senior Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Markham, ON, responsible for overseeing landscaping projects from initial planning through completion. This position manages project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring work is executed to quality and safety standards while meeting client expectations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating crews and subcontractors, scheduling materials and equipment, conducting site inspections, and resolving issues that may impact project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will liaise with clients and internal stakeholders, provide regular progress updates, and support continuous process improvements across projects.



This role also mentors team members, promotes best practices, and helps drive operational efficiency within the organization.

Qualifications

- Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Expeditor and Expediting experience to manage material orders, track deliveries, and minimize delays.
- Inspection capabilities to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Logistics Management experience to organize crews, equipment, and transportation across multiple job sites.
- Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and internal interactions.
- Proficiency with project management software and basic office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling applications).
- Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions and safely navigate active job sites.
- Relevant education or certification in project management, construction management, or a comparable discipline is an asset.
