Role Description This full time, on-site Seed Cleaner role is based at Bantry Seed Farms Ltd. in Tilley, AB. The Seed Cleaner is responsible for operating and monitoring seed cleaning equipment, including set-up, calibration, and routine checks to ensure consistent product quality. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading seed, sorting and cleaning according to specifications, recording basic production data, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The role also involves performing minor equipment adjustments, reporting mechanical issues, following safety procedures, and assisting with general warehouse and yard duties as needed.



Collaboration with supervisors and coworkers to meet production schedules and quality standards is an essential part of this position.

Qualifications

- Experience in agricultural, manufacturing, or warehouse environments, preferably involving seed, grain, or bulk material handling.
- Ability to operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on cleaning, sorting, and conveyor equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow quality standards and written instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a production setting with dust and noise.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Basic record-keeping skills and comfort working with simple logs or production reports.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours, including seasonal overtime when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; prior seed cleaning or grain handling experience is an asset but not required if willing to learn.
