About the Role

Fireplaces Unlimited Heating & Cooling is seeking a proactive, experienced HVAC professional to take ownership of daily service scheduling and dispatch while helping us modernize our operations.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, take initiative, solve problems, and introduce improvements without requiring constant direction.

What You’ll Do

- Independently schedule and dispatch our team of HVAC service technicians.
- Answer customer inquiries and coordinate service and maintenance appointments.
- Prioritize urgent calls, adjust schedules, and communicate clearly with customers and technicians.
- Improve scheduling efficiency, technician utilization, and service processes.
- Research, select, and directly implement practical technology improvements, including AI-assisted phone answering, booking, and workflow automation.
- Help train colleagues on new systems and maintain accurate service records.
- Work collaboratively alongside our existing customer service team.

This is a hands-on operational position,



not a people-management role.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum two years of experience in the HVAC industry.
- Experience with scheduling and dispatch is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence working with computers and learning new technology.
- An interest in implementing AI tools, automation, and improved office systems.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Former HVAC service technicians interested in transitioning into an office-based role are welcome to apply.
