Overview The In Home Support Worker will provide practical, respectful assistance to a 92 year old woman suffering with dementia and mobility limitations within her home. The successful candidate will provide direct support with the daily routines of bathing, toileting, cooking, cleaning, laundry and comfort. This role combines personal care with household tasks and attentive, individualized support.

Responsibilities

- Direct support to 92 year old patient with dementia who requires mobility care.
- Meal preparation, house cleaning, and laundry while maintaining a comfortable, orderly environment, including shoveling snow and removing leaves in the yard.
- Medication administration and caregiving routines in accordance with the person’s established care plan including cognitive support through card games, board games and listening to music.
- Daily walks,



physiotherapy assigned movement and massages.
- Maintain a pleasant, respectful and happy household.

Skills Required: Practical caregiving skills, explicit communication, patience, and the ability to follow care routines while supporting daily activities safely and respectfully. Preferred: home care personal support worker experience, along with familiarity with senior care, dementia care, disability support, medication administration, meal preparation, cleaning, and physical assistance. Ability to converse in Italian is essential.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
