Job Summary

Just Like Family Home Care is looking for a motivated, well-connected individual to help grow our home care services in Fredericton and surrounding communities.

We are seeking someone who knows the local community, enjoys building relationships, and can connect families who need home care support with our services.

This role focuses on community outreach, client acquisition, referral development, and client relationship management. The successful candidate will serve as a local representative for JLF, helping us build relationships with seniors' organizations, community groups, healthcare providers, and families.

The role also includes opportunities to conduct non-medical home care assessments for prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and attract new home care clients in Fredericton and surrounding communities.
- Build relationships with local organizations, seniors' groups, and potential referral partners.
- Generate and follow up on prospective client inquiries.
- Conduct approved non-medical home care assessments, subject to qualifications and training.
- Maintain relationships with clients personally introduced to JLF and support client retention.
- Identify community needs and opportunities to expand JLF's services.
- Communicate client feedback and potential service concerns to JLF management.
- Represent JLF professionally during agreed community outreach activities.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Fredericton and surrounding communities.




- Experience in community outreach, sales, business development, home care, or related services.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and generate client leads.
- Positive organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Experience with seniors, persons with disabilities, or home care services is an asset.

Compensation This is an independent contractor opportunity with performance-based compensation.

- Client Acquisition: $150 for each new client personally acquired who completes 50 billable hours of home care services.
- Home Care Assessments: $18 per hour for approved assessment assignments.
- Client Retention Commission: Additional percentage-based monthly commission for qualifying retained clients, subject to agreed terms.

There are no guaranteed weekly hours. Contractors have flexibility in managing their outreach activities and may accept or decline assessment assignments.
