As Assistant
Manager, Insurance Accounting, you will support full-cycle accounting and reliable financial information. You will lead five direct reports while coordinating close activities, reconciliations, regulatory filings, and audit support. The position suits a hands-on leader with strong judgment and continuous improvement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead five direct reports through priorities, reviews, deadlines, coaching, and feedback
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting activities
- Prepare and review statutory, regulatory, tax, and statistical filings
- Oversee journal entries, working papers, and ledger reconciliations
- Investigate control exceptions, data issues, and reconciling items Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce, Finance or Accounting
- Completed CPA designation and seven years’ accounting or auditing experience
- Robust technical accounting, reporting, analysis, and reconciliation skills
- Team leadership experience with coaching and deliverable reviews
