Electrical design expertise meets Cameco’s Port Hope conversion facility, focusing on power distribution and instrumentation systems. This is a regular full time engineering position. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the site’s design engineering team. Your work covers 600 V three-phase distribution, loop drawings, electrical controls, and power system studies. You will provide technical guidance to operations, maintenance, and projects. Key Responsibilities:

Provide electrical engineering expertise throughout the conversion facility Develop and approve electrical and instrumentation drawings Support operations, maintenance, and site projects teams Manage selected projects through implementation Ensure solutions comply with codes and Cameco standards Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering Ontario Professional Engineer license or active progress toward licensing Minimum five years’ 600 V distribution engineering experience Experience conducting power system and arc flash studies Working knowledge of systems up to 44 kV Apply electrical engineering, instrumentation, and technical guidance expertise as Cameco’s site design authority in Port Hope.
